Go to a salon and have them chemically straighten it.

Well, about the only other way is with a blowdryer...but I suggest either:

Scrunching your hair

messy bun

or just expirement with your hair to see what you can come up with, until you get a new straightener at least. Hope I helped!

When you blow dry your hair, use a boar bristle brush... or any other natural bristle brush. You can even buy them at Target. Section your hair into 3 parts, the bottom, the middle and the top. When your hair is wet, apply some product (any kind will do... the reason you put on product is b/c it protects it from the heat) then when you blow dry your bottom section of hair, blow dry it under. When that's dry, do the same to the middle section and then to the top. It will take some time to get used to blow drying your hair under but you'll get the hang of it! When you are all done, you can apply some de-frizz. The key to blow drying your hair straight is to use a boar bristle brush!

when you wake up in the morning, shower with shampoo and a good conditioner then blowdry your hair and use an iron on it. a clothes iron. take out your ironing board and put some hair on the board and CAUTIOUSLY iron your hair. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PROTECTION ON YOUR HAIR!!!! this can severly damage your hair!

When you have conditioner on your hair when washing it, use a comb (not a brush) and comb it down. Do this a few times and then wash off. Also, when you're drying your hair, hold the blow dryer on one hand and with the other, comb down your hair (pulling it, but not too hard). Tilt the blow dryer downwards and concentrate on one chunk of hair until it dries. Do this until all your hair dries and hopefully straight. If you want, you can use a straightening gel/mousse before drying. This should work, but then again I don't know how wavy your hair really is.

I have thick, frizzed out, super curly hair. It use to be a HORRIBLE nightmare. I started using FrizzEase hair products from John Freida. I knwo your hair is just wavy but they feature products that would like help your hair. They have a cream called "wind down" that you run through and it flattens it. John Frida also makes product that are for colors: Blonde, Brunette, Red. They have alot of products similar to the frizzease line that also bring out your color. Most of their stuff is about $3-5 a bottle/jar/whatever. Definitely check it out!
