my hair does that too. I don't use a straightening shampoo, though. What gets the kinks out of my hair is John Frieda's FrizzEase hair serum. In order to get the right amount, you have to play around with it. You either use too much at first or too little. It's good stuff though. Cheap too. And my hair can be unruly!

The humidity does this; there's nothing you can do..I have same problem and have been a professional hairdresser for 30 years. This situation always appears when I'm at the beach, even when I'm still inside...moisture from the ocean kinks it up every time or makes it frizzy. Just use lots of moisturizer/conditioner when shampooing and use lots of styling gel before drying..this will help.

its the humitity that does that to your hair. its best to do it the night before, syle it as you usually would, and sleep on it as you normally do. then the next day straighten it again. if this doesnt work, then find a hair lotion that will mosturize your hair, and then put it in before you go outside.

And this costs a lot of money, but you should invest in a hair straightener called the Chi (I could be spelling that wrong). Any salon or day spa will carry it and it is the B-E-S-T. You can control the temperature with it, and do more than just straighten hair! They cost upwards of $100 depending on where you go.

no, don't get a hotter straightner, tis nothing to do with the heat of it, and the more hot it is... the more it damages ur hair! its probably the humitity outside, try use a little bit of wax.. don't worry, it wont make ur hair greasy if u just use a little! just like a little pea size and make sure applyed evenly... u mite need more depending on the lenght of ur hair~ hope this advise helps!

It's probably very humid where you live, I use John Frieda products on my hair while it's still wet apply some frizz ease serum and then straighten my hair with a large round brush and a hot blowdryer first then I use my ceramic straightner to straighten it out. Try that or if not get a friend to help by getting two paper bags cut them into two large section depending on how long your hair is lay on your bed and set the ironing board to the same height as you bed dry you hair normally and then iron it with a household iron but place the sections of hair between the paper bags that will prevent it from the heat damage. use some frizz ease when your done and viola! beautiful straight hair that not even humidity will lift...

Then when it's finished, I put a small amount through it to keep it from it getting wavy when going outside. A small amount goes a long way so it will last a while. And it also makes the hair look shiny and healthy.
