|Do you have naturally straight hair?? If you do then try hot rolllers or curlers you sleep in... if you hair is wavy then thats a whole different story!!

curling gel? Theres some stuff that you can get and if you put it on and blowdry it it'll get curly. It's not that hard to find... i reccommend bed head by tigi.

You just have to have patience to roll it on hot rollers or soft bed rollers.

braiding with the hair still damp works for me. then spread it through with your fingers. also after you wash it, crunch it up while blow drying it and add some mousse. that should help a lot

this is easy!! grab hairspray, hair gel and hair dryer...... get your head wet use your gel...use it!! lol and then dry it while crushing your hair with your hand and making it wavey then after its almost dry not all the way spray it and crush it more then dry all the way or let it go! hairspray the more the better on this!!

you could use curling shampoo. Mousse and scrunch it.

You could twist a bunch of your hair and sleep through the night.

I hope I gave good advice!

Wait one more could be with gell and hair spray.

Well, having been 'cursed' (born with) curly hair, I can tell you that if you have straight hair and braid it, it MAY give you the look you desire, but the mistake people make when trying to curl or wave their hair is they try to run a comb or brush through it. That will make it poof.

You need to put a product like Curls Rock or something in it, use ONLY your fingers to 'comb' through your hair and leave it alone the rest of the day. (or apply moisture or a little more product with your hands only). But never run a comb or brush through it or you will end up with the giant poof you're describing.

P.S. Do you know what pin curls are? It's when you take your hair, wrap it around your finger to make a little small circle up close to your head and put bobby pins (criss crossed like an X against your head with the hair curled inside the pins) to pin it and let it set, then the next morning, take out all the little curls you made and you'll have A LOT of curl or wave! Then care for it the same as I described earlier.

STEPS:

At night or in the late afternoon, wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

Gently squeeze the excess water out of hair with a plush towel.

Let hair air dry till about 75% dry.

Spray hair with a curl booster.

Put your hair up in 2 high buns. Your hair should vaguely resemble Minnie Mouse. You can secure with bobby pins or scrunchies-(scrunchies are more comfortable.)

Go to sleep with your hair up.

In the morning, get dressed and wash your face before you take your hair down. It's much easier to get that stuff out of the way first.

Gently take down the buns. Gently run your fingers through some of the curls to break them up a little.

Spray hair with more curl booster or hair spray.

Tips: You can scrunch your hair before you put it up in the buns to get a head start on the curling process. The more buns you have, the curlier your hair will be.
