What is best for thick, coarse, long, wavy-straight hair?

Hair styles, cut, shampoo/conditioners, hints and tips needed. Thanks so much!

layered hair cut, not bangs but just layers that start about eye level in the front and then go down till about mid back. that is the length you should cut it. In the back, it should be slightly layered maybe an inch layers at the very most. this makes it alot easier to style and take care of. pantene pro v is the best shampoo for your hair, trust me, i have exactly the same type. my hair used to be coarse, but then i used pantene and in 6 short weeks it was the softest hair i had ever felt. Wear your hair completely straight some days just to change it up a bit. you can also curl it once in a while, for special occasions.

hope this helps!!

a layered cut, so that it thins out the hair a bit, cutcutcut a lot off. i used to have long and thick hair, and it was a pain in the butt to maintain, but now that it's shoulder-length, its very easy to take care of. garnier fructis or herbal essences are great for thick hair. and don't blow-dry your hair upside down. it'll pouf out your thick hair and frizz it up.

I like to keep my (what I call) "horse hair"-----it's thick, wavy, coarse-----in layers. It seems to thin it out quite a bit. I blow dry mine straight usually. I have found that Dove Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner work VERY well. I also like Herbal Essences Moisturizing (it's in a blue bottle and smells soooo good!) Shampoo and Conditioner.

The best hair cut is a layered cut, just be sure that the layers begin at about the chin area. If they are shorter than that your hair with pouf out. If your hair is super thick you can also ask your stylist to thin your hair out. This should be done more towards the middle of your hair where it is thicker.

The best shampoo and conditioner is Pantene (any one).

Also remember that you do not need to wash your hair every single day, washing every other day is best.

A ponytail, as it never goes out of style, %26amp; you save money by not having to spend it on styles that keep you going back, chemicals treatments that aren't good for you, %26amp; thus destroying the thick, coarse, long wavy straight hair that you have been given as crowning glory for your natural beauty that no one else can duplicate! Think about that one! Just remember, the more you do to your hair, the older you will look, just look around! Sometimes you just can't mess with perfection!
