I was thinking bout getting it permanently done but not sure if perms or permanent waves have the same effect that i want to my hair.

a perm has very tiny curls as to curlers which you can have big curls with if you get big curlers if you want that then go with a curling iron they work best for that and then after you curl your hair put either a dime size of mousse or use a little hairspray but dont use alot because that can give you dandruff.

To do this , dont twist the straightener , twist your hand up and down , not around .

Or while your hair is wet , put the in braides .

Or do this while sleeping , it works !

Once it's wet, put in a curling cream.

Use a t-shirt to scrunch your hair, they absorb better than a towel for hair. A diffuser is also great for getting soft curls.

Getting curls requires a lot of product, so don't be afraid to load it in!

Once you've gotten your desired look, be sure to spray it with hair spray to keep the curls from falling out.

Another idea is to go to sleep with wet hair, tends to curl up a bit more. Do everything from above, then go to sleep. When you wake up, use a bit more product to hide fly aways.
