my hair is UNSIGHTLY, VERY VERY frizzy, and i don't have money for costly hair protectants.

Lather olive oil on it. That'll make it look greasy, but at least it kills the frizz. I have slight frizz after a shower, and I use lemon juice...that works great for me.

apply texturising wax or gel to hold it in place.

Well first of all, I know the feeling of frizzy hair. What I use when I dont have the money for products is, I use a body lotion. Its heavy like those fancy creams that are used to weigh down your frizziness. It works for me. Hope it helps.

I had a friend who swore by Frizz-Ease products. She wasn't rolling in money, but I don't know myself how much they are. They worked for her, and nothing else did.

Sweetie living in Texas I sure know what you mean. LOL. I deal with that 350 days of the year. I just throw on some Frizz-ease and moose and I'm good to go. Good Luck.

I know how this humidity heats,I live in fort lauderdale,fl so it's really hot and humid when it rains.you need to comb your hair, then add some gel to let it straight..If that doesn't work, wash your hair and then add some hair spray and comb before adding hair spray.

hope this helps

alana:)
