i have long hair so this may not work for you, i shower before bed loads of conditionar and then when its still wet section into two (one on the left and one on the right) put into ponytails as near to the parting as you can (about 2 inches is good though) and tie tight plaits then sleep in it(thick hair will take longer to dry). remove the top band first then remove the bottom band, undo the plait and shake your head a bit! good luck x
