I am about to give you the greatest gift to curly, thick, frizzy hair ever: TIGI Curls Rock! Curl Amplifier.

It comes in a blue 4 ounce pump tube and is amazing. The whole line is great (expensive, but worth it), but this is the one product you simply must get. I buy it in 2-packs off Ebay and save like 15 dollars.

It takes a few tried to get the right combination of product with blow drying or scrunching or whatever you're doing.

I have hair halfway down my back that is EXTREMELY thick. I put in 2 pumps of cream when my hair has been in a towel out of the shower for about 10 minutes. Not sopping wet, but nowhere near dry yet.

I then twist into curls around my fingers and then scrunch with my head flipped down.

When it's dry, the curls are shiny and beautiful and never crunchy-- absolutely NO frizz. Bonus: It smells GREAT! I always get tons of compliments.

i would try Sleek. Look by Matrix..its great for smoothing out the hair shaft..it doesn't just automatically make the hair straight it makes it smoother and more protected for daily styling..they also have great styling aids that go with it..but start with the shampoo and cond. first..

fructis garnier is good for smooth and shine, but what will really help with the curls is Fructis Garnier..

I have super frizzy hair to. Everyday I use hang straight by aveda, and that works real good. And its supposed to keep your hair "tamed" for upto like 70% humidity. It's at every Aveda store, and at every Rave Salon.
