The absolute best is a product called Curls Up Mousse by FX Special Effects. You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, etc. You'll love it!

It's great to get people to recommend products like this for you but everyone's hair is different so what works for one person might not work for you. I would suggest you try buying travel sized products until you find one that's right for you, that way you don't waste something that doesn't work and you don't waste your money. You could also try asking your friends to try theirs - even if they don't have curly hair...just because a product says it is designed for one type of hair, doesn't mean it won't work for you.

Basically, you get what you pay for. If you buy the cheap stuff, don't expect great results. If you can spare a little extra money, always get your hair products from a reputable high-end salon. They can advise you about which products are best for your hair type. To name a few of the high quality hair product manufacturers: Paul Mitchell, Joico, Matrix, Biolage, Brocato, Rusk, and Kenra. There are more, but this will give you an idea anyway of what to look for.
