If I have 12" wavy not curly hair right now if I grow it to 20 inches will it be straighter?

Having experimented with the length of my curly hair, I can say that 20 inches will make your hair flatter, not necessarily straighter. The weight will pull it down making it flat on top and if not tamed/tended too unruly on the bottom. It will take work either way to get it to what you want.

I'm not sure I understood if you want to keep it wavy or you want it to become straight.

However, for longer hair to stay wavy, i would have your stylist put one or two long layers in to keep the weight off and allow the wave to stay light and not looked pulled down and flat around your face.

If you want it to be straight, I think you could grow it out and use a good styling syrum and maybe some heat to style it the way you want it.

Hope this helped!

Yes, because it's pulled by gravity. If you were to keep it short, it would curl under, some.

the top part of your hair will be straight but the bottom part will still be wavy. you can always go get your hair straightened or you can also get a straightening iron.

I had wavy hair when i had it long, and i just got sick of it so i keep it short now.. i feel for ya girl.
