Then split hair into sections and take bunches of hair and scrunch it up towards the scalp and hold it together with a plastic hair clamp. If straight - curling iron or perm are the only way for real curls. If it has natural body, wave or curl to it. Put a serum (frizz ease type) in it while it is soaking wet. Run your hands through to make sure it is all through there. Then you can blot it with a towel. I put mine up in a towel to let the product soak in and water dry out a little. Then I use mousse. Lots of it. But I have long hair. I put a diffuser on my hairdrier and flip my head upside down. Scrunch my hair as I dry it. Makes my wavy/slightly curly hair very curly.
