a body wave or a weave perm. i call it a hit and miss, they only body wave sections of your hair ,like roll one , miss one, gives it a wave and not a tight curl

for a wavy look, try african pride, ANY LENGTH texturizer, It brings a a wavy curl to my hair and I use a wet-n-wavy liquid product to add to it. But please note, if you hair has been processed with a relaxer over two months ago or sooner, do not use a texturizer. It will make your hair break off

NOT a spiral, a "normal" perm (rolled sideways instead of up and down like with a spiral) and you really should get perms in a salon. its not like dyeing your hair! good luck!

What ever you decide don't "DIY" (do it yourself)Ask a professional . I like the way my hair looks as well after braiding. But you must remember if it's black hair you have to go the extra mile to keeping it moisturized and conditioned well. And since I can't just assume that you are Afro Amer. If your hair has been braided for any lenth of time it will shed a lot and will need just as much TLC as black hair.
