I need a LITTLE more information than that. It depends on your ethnicity and what you've been doing before, but here's my story:

I get out of the shower after thoroughly washing my hair and either put some straightening serum (Biosilk works wonders, as does Paul Mitchell) and take a round brush and blow dryer and divide it up in sections. I blow dry from the root to the ends.

After your hair looks like a total fro, divide it in sections again, starting at the bottom of your head, take a ceramic flat iron in smaaaaaaalllll sections of hair and flat iron until it's straight.

to be honest i really dont know if this will work but black people use relaxers so if your hair is just as hard to straighten why not try it :] or go get it done chemically at a local salon

mines the same way!! I use a straightening shampoo (Herbal Essenses Dangerously Straight) then I use a straightening serum, blowdry (blowdryer facing down not to the side) then tie up all over your hair except a thin layer, straighten it w. a cermanic straightener, then let another layer down, and repeat. I usually end up doing about 5 or 6 layers. Ohh and make sure you leave the straightener on your hair for a few seconds, DON'T use slide the straightener thru it!!

try and get the Chi straightener, it the best one out there, or you could try the Metropolis which is even better than the chi but its extremely expensive, they both get extremely hot and work wonders on any hair type.....Try it you'll be amazed( i own a chi bye the way so that's why i know..)

Invest in a good flat iron! I recommend the Chi iron. :)

well first Don't take Advice from any one who does not know your ethnicity and you must request this from all who answer your question because all hair is different for instance I'm African American and i press my hair with a ceramic straighting comb but some people get it chemical straighteners done at the salon or relaxers it really depends on your ethnicity some just use ceramic flat irons( i use those too) but there are different levels to all these things Ive mentioned give me more info and ill find whats best for you .

Well what i do when i want to straighten my hair i get in the shower and put in this herbal essense stuff the one that straightns hair then let it dry then use a straightening iron and bam straight and no puff well good luck.!.!~!~!

Sounds like my hair! I straighten it in layers with my Revlon straightener from Wal-Mart. It gets super hot %26amp; works great. It has bigger plates which cover more hair at a time. Make sure you deep condition your hair at least once a week %26amp; use a heat protection spray for your hair every time you straighten it. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)
