Try using DOVE Curl %26amp; Sculpt defining mousse. My hair is half way down my back and naturally curly, with the fuzz. I tried this product and have used it for over a year now. Its wonderful.

Try using infusium spray or Garnier Furits Shampoo.

Never use a brush or comb on it, always always always use your fingers...that's what i have to do or else my hair will loose its shape and turn into a big ball of fluff.

Try FrizzEase serum by John Freida, apparently that stuff works pretty well.

Good luck!

Why are you fighting your hair? Go with the flow. You need a haircut for wavy/frizzy hair. Go to a REAL salon and ask for a wash and run haircut that complements your type of hair. You may need to stop straightening and blow drying, and wash, fluff, and style with your fingers. A bit of gel, etc. Go to a very good salon for advice.

I have had alot of luck with an inexpensive conditioner (Suave). And remember, once you have your conditioner on your hair, be sure you let it sit there for at least 5, maybe even 10 minutes so it has time to do its job. Then rinse thoroughly.

Also, if you live in certain areas, the weather is playing a part and you may be even more limited on resolutions.

You can wash at night and then when hair is damp put a pony tail in and wrap it into a bun. Go to sleep. Your hair is still a bit damp in the morning but smoothe. Makes it so much easier. Use a soft band so you dont damage your hair.

i hav the same kind of hair. i used to straighten it and when i do i use loreal vive straight shampoo n conditioner n that protects my hair so that it has never been damaged. but it takes awhile. so i use curl shampoo (pantene) and then while it is still really wet i use garnier fructis hard curl gel and flip my head upside down and scrunch my hair. then i sleep on it with it still real wet. i get frizz-free, shiny, beautiful curls. (sounds like a comericial)

Ok....I have frizzy wavy thick hair.....and I'll tell you that John Frieda Frizz Ease does NOTHING for me.

The first thing you need is a really good cut.....took me YEARS to find a really great stylist that knows enough to layer my hair in length AND width and knows how my hair is going to "lay" so she doesn't make it worse by cutting short layers where it's going to really kink/frizz.

I take a Toni Home Perm (Hard To Curl hair) and I CHEMICALLY straighten my hair. You take the home perm and follow the directions for timing on it and then just comb your hair STRAIGHT for 20 minutes or whatever it says on the instructions then wash it out and put the neutralizer on following the directions on the insert for timing. I do this about every 2 - 3 months.

Get a GOOD smoothing product. My personal fave is Scruples Smooth Out Straightening Gel. It's $20 for the 8.5 ounce pump but it should last about 2 months.

I have a LARGE BARREL Round Brush to blow my hair dry and not one with any of that dang "Boar Hair Bristles" that crap just gets caught in my hair and makes a bigger mess. Then pull while you blow dry. When you finish drying it use pump hard to hold hair spray and blast the heck outta your hair when the spray is dry brush through your hair so that you don't have any hard crusty chunks of hair.

Takes me about 20 minutes to blow my hair dry fairly straight with a bit of body and curl but no frizz.

If you absolutely hate your curly hair get it straightened professionally. I had gotten a perm ( what was I thinking!) and hated it so I got it chemically straightened. After that it was pin straight and I loved it. Otherwise you could get your hair thinned out next time you get a trim and you have less hair to straighten and save you time.

Choose a hair stylist experienced in curly/dry hair.

Have your hair stylist help you choose a hairstyle that is easy to maintain--preferably one that just requires a wet-and-go approach.

Once you have your favored style, visit your stylist at least 4 times a year to trim split ends.

Don't let your hair stylist use a razor to layer your hair (although layering is good.) Razors contribute to split ends.

Don't wash hair every day. This kind of hair needs the natural oils from your scalp to reduce frizz.

To upkeep your desired style, just wet hair with some conditioner on non-washing days (rinse thoroughly).

Avoid using hairdryers unless necessary. Blowdrying hair dries it out. If you must use a hair dryer than make sure you use a diffuser.

Believe it or not, grease, mousses and gels make caring for this kind of hair harder!! Chemical build-ups require more washing than is healthy.

If you must use products, use high-quality, health-food store or salon products that leave little residue.

Do not brush, unless you want a 'fro.

Love your hair! Many are envious of the regal quality of curly hair!

Hope this helps~

There's really no short cuts. I have problems with frizziness too. This is my hair regimen to get rid of it! (If you look at my avatar閳?you閳ユ獟l see that it really does work!!). Good luck! =)

1. Choose a shampoo or conditioner by looking for the words smoothing, moisturizing or hydrating on the front of the bottle (I use Pantene Pro-V for dry and damaged hair).

2. After washing, towel dry and apply a smoothing or frizz serum (I like John Frieda閳ユ獨 Frizz Ease閳ヮ泴ound at most drug stores).

3. Let hair hang dry until it is almost fully dry. When almost dry, finish drying with a blow dryer while using a round boar-bristle brush (work with small areas at a time 閳?do not let your hair blow all over the place, otherwise it will just become more unruly).

4. Make sure your hair is completely dry. If there is anymore moisture left it will become frizzy.

5. By using a 1-1/2 inch (or larger) curling iron or a flat iron, you can smooth out any left over frizz.

6. You can also apply a hair wax (like Bumble and Bumble Styling Wax) or pomade (like Got2B Defiant Define Plus Shine Pomade) now.

7. Finish off by using a flexible hair spray (like Finesse閳ユ獨 Touchable hair spray).

* Get your ends trimmed up at least every 6 weeks.
